Grace Lavonne Hardman Parker, 79, of Winter Avenue Weston passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown following an extended illness. She was born in Pickens on March 17, 1938: daughter of the late Roy Sherman Hardman and Madeline Grace (Jeffries) Hardman. Grace was married to Jim Marshall Parker, who preceded her in death on February 19, 2003.
Mrs. Parker is survived by four daughters: Diane Batten (Allen) of Weston, Nettie White (Michael) of W. Palm Beach, FL, Bernice Sherman (J.C.) of Houston, TX and Kim Henline of Houston, TX, four sons: Willie Henline (Falina) of Weston, Jimmie Henline (Angie) of Jane Lew, Robert Henline (Myhiep) of Weston and Jace Parker of Weston, 19 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. She is also survived by one sister: Carol Ann Wotring of Clarksburg and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Parker was a waitress for most of her life. Later on she became a greeter at Wal-Mart for several years. She attended Victory Assembly of God of Weston. Her hobbies included reading, travel and camping.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 11 a.m. -1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Mark Anderson officiating. Interment will follow services in the Mt. Herman Church Cemetery of Buckhannon, WV. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Labre Indian School P.O. Box 216 Ashland, MT 59003-9989.
