Jessie E. ""Tutu""  Ash (Stansberry)
Jessie E. “Tutu” Ash, 91, of Weston passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 in Crestview Nursing Home of Jane Lew following an extended illness. She was born in Cox Mill on July 2, 1926: daughter of the late Hunter Stansberry and Faye (Smith) Stansberry. On December 18, 1948, she married G. Frank Ash, who survives. See you soon.
Mrs. Ash is also survived by two daughters: Vickie Lynn Ash Hahn of Ashburn, VA and Gina Faye Ash Simon and husband Larry of Weston, three grandchildren: Jessica Lynn Bailey, James William Hahn and Ryan Taylor Hahn and one great grandchild: Hadley Taylor Bequette. She is also survived by two sisters: Anna Belle Stansberry Childers of Clarksburg, MD and Rita Mae Stansberry Broadwater of Cape Canaveral, FL, two brothers: William F. Stansberry of Staunton, VA and Hunter “Cline” Stansberry of West Union and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home 730 N. Main Avenue Weston on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Russell Furr officiating. Interment will follow services in the Masonic Memorial Park of West Union, WV. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Jessie may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
