Obituary for Mary Jane Crouse (Cawthon)

Mary Jane Crouse, 81, longtime resident of Alumn Bridge, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at home following an extended illness. She was born in Lewis County on September 28, 1936: daughter of the late Jacob Cawthon and Eva Gladine.
Mary Jane is survived by three daughters: Christeen Williams & Russell, Patty Jane
Crouse and Tessa “Stella” Flint and ten grandchildren: Justin Lee Williams, Angela Marie
Williams, Samantha Nichol Self, Eva Renea Williams, Sabrina Williams, Athena Darlene Williams,
Robert Wayne Crouse, Joseph Lee Anderson II, Steely Dale Sims and Matthew Moen and twelve
great grandchildren: Serenty Dawn Williams, Leah Marie Day, Patrina Jane Self, Kasi Renea Lott,
Connor Mason Lott, Jeremiah Robert Crouse, Andrea Faith Crouse, Dakota Christian Crouse, Zoi Renea Williams, Gracie Lee Williams ,Seth Ryan Crouse and Jacob McKinley Crouse and one great great grandchildren: Ryleigh Lynn Crouse and one brother: Floyd Wayne Cawthon. Mary Jane was also predeceased by her father and mother, husband Harold Robert Crouse, one son: Harold Wayne Crouse and two brothers.
Mary Jane was a Methodist by Faith. In her younger years, she loved to swim, bike and play badminton. For most of her life she was a glass worker, were she had many duties in various departments. Later in life she liked to fish, garden and travel. She was a strong lady with a kind heart and will be missed by many especially her large family who were so beloved by her.
The family would like to thank the angels who also happens to be nurses of Hospice, Kim Doty-Arrick, Virginia Suder Cutlip and Marilyn McCauley for making Mommy’s journey to heaven much more peaceful. Servives and internment will follow at a later date and time.
