Obituary for Marsha Jean Keene (Harris)

Marsha Jean Keene, 72, of 124 E. 1st Street Weston passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born in Weston on August 8, 1946: daughter of the late James M. Harris and Florence (Ruble) Harris Jeffries. On June 17, 2000, she married Charles Keene, who survives.
Marsha is also survived by three sons: Greg Skidmore of Clarksburg, Brian Skidmore and wife Sherri of Weston and David Skidmore and wife Tammy of Pricetown and seven grandchildren: Brandy Skidmore, Destiny Skidmore, Christian Skidmore, Brian Skidmore, II, Ryan Skidmore, Lucas Skidmore and Logan Skidmore. She is also survived by four sisters: Louise M. Shirley of Clarksburg, Aretta Gum of Churchville, Carolyn Sue Swiger and Marlene Wade both of Weston and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her brother: James L. Harris.
Mrs. Keene was a floor manager for Wal-Mart. She was a graduate of Weston High School and a member of Broad Street United Methodist Church of Weston. Her hobbies included Bingo, cooking and travel.
Family and friends will be received at the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. from the Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Brian Plum and Pastor Jerry Bean officiating. Following visitation and services and per her wishes, Marsha will be cremated and her ashes will be scattered at a later date.
