Timothy Scott Kelley, 47, of Weston (Homewood Addition) went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, June 4, 2019 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown following a sudden illness. He was born in Lewis County on February 18, 1972: son of Susan Taylor and husband Larry and Noah Kelley and wife both of Weston and grandparents: Carvelle and Kenny Stout of Camden. Tim was preceded in death by the late the late Harl and Ruth Golden with whom he made his home.
Tim was a lifetime member of the Bendale United Methodist Church of Weston where he opened church services every Sunday. He also sold brooms to raise money for his church and Tim’s church family was very special to him. He was a graduate of Lewis County High School with the Class of 1991. In addition to selling brooms, Tim would mow grass for Pat’s Restaurant of Homewood and sometimes for others in the neighborhood.
Tim is also survived by one 1/2 brother: Larry Taylor, II of Weston, nephew: Jacob Taylor of Weston, niece: Paige Taylor of Kent, OH, several aunts and uncles and special cousins: Roberta Ford and Kristi Carder. He also had a lot of friends from Pat’s Restaurant and special friends: Steve Finster, Willa Radcliff and Harriett Attanasio. Tim’s companion and best friend was his cat, Hoss.
At the request of Tim’s family he will be cremated and his special life will be memorialized with a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. from the Bendale United Methodist Church of Weston. Fellowship time will be from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. for friends and family to share their personal stories. A private interment will follow services. On-line condolences and life stories in memory of Tim may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
Hardman-Paletti Funeral Home of Weston is honored and privileged to serve the family of Timothy Scott Kelley.
