Millie Gay  Queen (Lake)
Millie Gay Queen, 57 of Coalton, WV passed away on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 in Ruby Memorial Hospital of Morgantown following an extended illness. She was born in Lewis County on December 24, 1953: daughter of Ruby M. (Cogar) Lake and the late George C. Lake. Mrs. Queen is the wife of Cleo “Buggy” Queen, who survives.
Mrs. Queen is also survived by one daughter: April Dawn Harrison Ward of Coalton and two grandchildren: Shawn Edwards and Marcus Harrison. Also surviving are four brothers: Clyde Harris of Buckhannon, Dutch Harris of Pennsylvania, and Michael P. Lake and George Junior Lake both of Camden, three sisters: Thelma Williams of Troy, Vicki Harris of Pennsylvania and Geneva Lake Lamb of Alum Bridge and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Bernard Carl Lake and Sammie Joe Lake and one sister: Mary M. Lake.
Mrs. Queen was a homemaker.
At Mrs. Queen’s request, her body will be cremated. There will be no visitation or services. On-line condolences may be expressed at hardman-palettifuneralhome.com.
